The Tigers’ 2026 SEC opponents include Alabama, Georgia, Vanderbilt, LSU, Florida, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Tennessee and Arkansas. Alabama, Georgia and Vanderbilt are Auburn’s annual opponents, meaning it will play those teams every season until at least 2029.

Florida football will open SEC play on the road for the second straight season, facing Auburn for the first time since 2019 and the first time on the Plains since 2011. It pits a battle of first-year coaches, as Sumrall will face Auburn’s Alex Golesh, who led USF to an 18-16 upset over the Gators at The Swamp on Sept. 6, 2025.

The drama came in the lower seeds, with Alabama earning the No. 9 seed despite a blowout loss in the SEC championship game, and Miami taking the No. 10 seed as the final at-large team in the field. Miami overtook Notre Dame for the final spot despite neither team playing this week.
